Find the cube root of the Numeral 13824 ?

Step 1: Divide the numeral into two parts in such a way that one part will have last 3 digits (because we are finding out cube root as we have taken last two digits while finding out the square root of the numeral) and the other part will have the remaining digits of the numerals.

So, we examine from the above table that 2^nd part i.e. 13 lies between cubes of 2 and 3.

Step 3: Now append zero after these numbers.

So it becomes 20 and 30.

Step 4: Now have a look at the last digit of the 1^st part 824 which is 4 here.

Step 5: Remember the cube of the number taken out in step 4 i.e. 4

                                   4³ =64

 Now take out its last digit i.e. 4

So 4 will be last digit of our cube root.

Step 6: As it is evident from the Step-3 the cube root lies between 20 and 30. So obviously it’s first digit will be 2 (we always take smaller one) and from Step 5 last digit will be 4.

So on combining both, our cube root will be 24.
